This first person shooter sees construction worker Carson thrust into a war to save New York City.Turning Point – Fall of Liberty is based on an alternate history where Winston Churchill is hit by a taxi in New York in 1931 and does not survive. The Nazi’s overrun England without the leadership of Churchill, the Soviet Union and the rest of Europe falls too. The US does not involve itself in the war as a result of strong native anti-war sentiment. The Axis powers grow in military strength, growing technologically superior to the US, and even developing a nuclear bomb. The game focuses on Carson, an American construction worker. Unlike typical war based game this does not involve the protagonist assisting in winning the war, instead it focuses on Carson surviving within a war environment. Many prototype weapons being developed at the time are featured in this game, including jet fighters and tanks. With famous backdrops including New York City and the White House, and a large array of weaponry, this war game based on what could have happened with only one small change in history packs a punch.
