BlazBlue: Continuum Shift delivers a brand new story, 7 new characters, 15 new stages and 4 new modes. A Brand New Story:

Following on from the events of the acclaimed Calamity Trigger story, this new chapter introduces 28 individual stories, voiced in both Japanese and English. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift offers twice the story content of its predecessor

Including the sinister Hazama, the deadly Lambda, brutally efficient Tsubaki and the ungodly power of Noel evolution, Mu

15 New Stages:

Featuring more of the gorgeous, detailed 3D backgrounds that give BlazBlue its unique style - the total battle arena count now stands at a massive 29!

    * Beginner Mode: Levels the playing field by introducing an innovative control scheme for novices

• Free Makoto DLC Character:

Previously a non playable character in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, players will be able to get to grips with Makoto’s hyper-aggressive style of fighting first-hand in Continuum Shift.
Makoto has a predominantly short reach, but boasts a wide variety of tools. Excellent as a close range fighter with impressive speed, her quick attacks make her an excellent choice for players who favour an offensive, rush-down style of combat.
Her special attacks offer considerable damage, feeling satisfying when they connect and her drive attack, ‘Impact’ can be charged to unleash more devastating energy attacks.

Players who download the Makoto DLC will also get a Tutorial added to Continuum Shift’s new Tutorial Mode, as well as specific challenges for Challenge Mode. They will also be able to battle against Continuum Shift players who have yet to download her.
As with all Continuum Shift characters, Makoto DLC will also contain ‘Unlimited’ character data (an alter-ego with slightly tweaked gameplay and attack effects) as well as additional costume colours and bonus Trophy and Achievement Data.
